Great course! Hard first mile to summit, then 1 mile slight down across ridge with fantastic views, then 1 mile fast downhill to finish. All on groomed wide trail. Music, big party, torchlight parade and more afterwards.

This could be a great season finish race next year!

Denise, Mike Lahey and I had a good tune-up earlier in the day at Northfield on a similar but longer course.

What does Catamount need to do for this to be a race that gets put on the calendar for next year (other then plan further in advance)? Seems that the 3rd Satruday of March is the best one for them. Hopefully next year this could be a bigger race (with an even bigger party)...... I appreciate all the help Bob and Denise Dion were in getting this going this year.

Maybe we can get the Jagermeister Girls to race next year instead of just hanging around the pub. (I may need to give them some "specially weighted" snowshoes for balance).

Bob, I have put in a request already to Rich to get the A Team, the Patron Silver Girls! I spoke with Rich today and he is really looking forward to next year and a longer planning process. He stated he would like to get 100+ runners to show up. That would be nice to see.

We can work out getting the race into the series / schedule in june at the snowshoe meeting following northfield mtn race - does that sound ok??

Does the 100+ runners include the Patron Girls? maybe we could have a team competition with the Jager Girls too! ...and the WMAC Angels...
The Angels will win! (The others aren't built for speed)

Ok, that is in addition to the 100 and certainly will make the admission cost worth it even when you don't factor in all the rest. I am still betting on the Patron Girls......
