Course: Snow covered roads. Up Rockwell Road from the Visitors Center to the summit of Mt. Greylock
(El. 3491') and back down to the start for 16 miles, or to the summit and down the north side and return for 30
miles (or turn around earlier if you choose).
The footing is generally good (packed snowmobile trail), so regular running shoes will work fine. The weather
at the top can be cold, so dress in layers, bring a water bottle, and be prepared for ice, wind and possibly dangerous
conditions. Visitor's Center will be open for rest rooms, changing, and warming up!
Directions: From Rt.7 (Between Lanesboro and New Ashford ) take N. Main St. (approx 1/2 mi.) to Quarry
Rd. (approx 1/2 mi.) to Rockwell Rd. .(approx. 1/2 mi.) Visitors Center is on right at end of plowed road.
